love, love, love this stockholm apartment belonging to christopher bastin, former creative director of gant. eclectic is an understatement…the only thing i may have a tough time getting behind is that very large snakeskin on the wall. i tend to shy away from heavy masculine spaces…this one, on the other hand is just right. perhaps the scandinavian twist adds just the right of brightness and and warmth. i also never thought i could be a fan of stainless cabinetry, in this case i definitely am…
i have such a weakness for well tailored menswear and i have a minor obsession with coats and blazers. which is why you can imagine my borderline giddiness when i came across new to me shipper. shipper is an outerwear label founded in 2015 by alexandra shipper. classic, beautifully tailored outerwear that plays off of traditional menswear while remaining completely feminine and timeless.
THE SHIPPER JACKET IS CRAFTED FOR THE WOMAN WHO ENJOYS OUTERWEAR AS A WAY TO EXPRESS HER IDENTITY. SHE APPRECIATES THAT A GARMENT’S QUALITY AND FEEL CAN STRONGLY ELEVATE THE VISUAL ENCOUNTER. AS A WORLDLY TRAVELER WHO IS DEEPLY AWARE OF HER CULTURAL SURROUNDINGS, SHE EXPLORES AND VALUES EVERY POCKET IN HER COAT AND ALWAYS LOOKS FORWARD TO ITS LONGEVITY IN HER WARDROBE.
forever coats, blazers and vests…
i should also say that i tried to narrow down this post a bit to no avail…i had to share each and everyone.
beautiful, warm, and handcrafted…are all words i would use to describe this 100 year old farmhouse rebuild. the amount of time and dedication is apparent. kelli cain and brian crabtree, the couple behind the space, committed to 9 foot windows and then built the remaining details around them…the final goal being unique views of interior aspects looking in from the outside.
obviously, this home’s interior caught my eye immediately, however, the ceramics created my kelli are a close second…
a perfectly cozy space to kick off the fall season.
