Master Inspiration

lark & linen

i dislike my bedroom. i am incredibly proud of the work i have done in the rest of my home, however, our bedroom is the one room that has remained untouched…until now. i am ready to roll up my sleeves and get started. i bump into countless beautiful bedrooms on a daily basis, inspiration is definitely not the problem. if possible, i believe i may have inspiration overload. i am definitely in the needing to narrow things down process…

which brings me to today’s post…i have decided i would love to take our room in one of two directions: scandinavian (of course), with bohemian bits scattered here and there or in a direction that is a bit grown-up, perhaps has a dose of color (gasp) and feels sophisticated and romantic.

i have compiled some photos of what i have in mind…

the first photos incorporate the direction predictable-me would go in…

It seems so easy, to make a beautiful bedroom. Simple, beautiful bedding, interesting lights, natural rug and some unexpected decoration. And not so expensive too, in comparison with the rest of the house. Great inspiration – I love that little pink pillow as a headboard.

All of them are great but I love the “duvet cover (greyish blue)” drap te most~ It’s so stunning~~ Want it for my bedroom. Thank you for sharing all of this beautiful inspiration.
