my happy place...

i have always wanted to pack up the car and take an epic road trip out east.  i would most definitely love to spend some time in the rolling green of upstate new york.  if i were able to choose, i would love to stay at this stunning home...a blacksmith shop in the 1800s, it is now affectionately called "the smithy."  It was lovingly and meticulously restored over a period of 12 years and the results are impeccable...

actually, since we are speaking in hypotheticals, i am thinking i may want to take up permanent residence at the smithy...i am smitten with this historic beauty.

I'm taken in by all that lush green! Will be thankful when it starts to return again. The home is obviously great.

i want to go to there. what a peaceful-looking place.

This place is gorgeous I grant you but, what am I to do with you...that you NEVER post a place in Jersey?! How are we EVER to be next door neighbors?! Get on it! :)

It looks fantastic. So peaceful, and so green! Are those all pictures of the rooms, as well? I like! Although everything always looks better with the sunlight streaming in...
