A Scandinavian Home Decorated Perfectly for the Holidays

December 20, 2016

minimalism, when done correctly, is far from cold. the home of jonas bjierre poulse, on of the founding forces behind norm architects clearly is a master in this realm. one of my biggest complaints with holiday decor is that often times it can be overdone…which can end up becoming more of a novelty than a part of the space it is meant to enhance. this home is completely opposite; the holiday-type additions appear to add, not overpower the design of this family home.

of course, it doesn’t hurt that everything thing else in this home is a work of art…

The Home of Elli and Cameron Walsh

December 16, 2016

well, just seems like the perfect way to finish up the week; a light drenched, cheery apartment. this sydney home belongs to elli walsh and cameron walsh. no surprise, elli is an artist and no surprise, i am incredibly jealous of all of the beautiful pieces of art scattered perfectly throughout this space.

simply put, this spot makes me happy.

happy december weekend dearest friends.

The Crofts Home

December 14, 2016

i am completely in love with this melbourne home designed by georgia ezra of gabbe. the crofts home, to me, is the perfect combination of masculine building materials such as timber and concrete while also incorporating feminine elements through the use of art and furnishings. of course there are always the books, which appeal to everyone.

the seagrass on the cabinetry is so incredibly fantastic …definitely going into my kitchen idea folder.
